Welcome to the Bailey Geobiology Research Group website! Our broad scientific interest is to better understand the interaction of the biosphere and geosphere, as well as to better understand novel microbes and their ecologies and physiologies. We are particularly interested in sulfur-oxidizing lithotrophs, symbioses, and polyphosphate.
